Studio Update 3
////Another fun filled day in the studio. Its 8:40 P.M. and we've got the bass done, along with the acoustic ending of one of the songs with a guest appearance by our good friend Eric Lee from Turn for the Worst. After some mixing of the instrumental tracks, we now have Mike in the back room warming up his voice. Everything is sounding amazing so far. I bet you will all be happy to know that we have video that we will be putting together of all our recording. More to come when we get more stuff done. -Justin

Studio Update 2
////Well it's about 5:08. We worked earlier today on cleaning up the drums and we had to start over on the guitars. We decided that we would change the tones on our amps a bit and do some different tone emulations (ENGL style). Anyways, our guitar has a much more juicy sound to them and I (Dan) am really happy about it. Justin is currently about done with his rhythm tracks and I am sitting in the sound room hearing it and working with Tony, the sound engineer and owner of the studio. Until later... -Dan

////Hey there everyone. We are in the studio at the moment and it's 1:11 in the morning and we are all a bit tired. I (Dan) am finished with my rhythm tracks and Swav has finished all the drums. Currently, I can hear Justin recording part of one of the songs (it's a secret) in the backround. Tomorrow, Justin will get finished with rhythm tracks, Justin and I will finish our alternate tracks, and we will start on either Bass or Vocals. Until tomorrow... -Dan

////Good day, Ladies and Gents, and merry Christmas! We're heading into Cleancut recording studios monday, and should be recording either a three song demo, or a five song EP throughout the rest of Christmas break. We are very happy to find out that Afterimage is currently placed second in unsigned Death Metal bands on Purevolume! That is all thanks to you, our fans. In other news: We are considering putting the intro graphic of our site,
(click here), onto a new shirt, with maybe a few changes. New stickers are also in the works, but we don't have a solid graphic to release at the moment. That is it for now, and we all wish you a happy new year!

////Greetings once again, friends of Afterimage. The updated pictures from the latest show are now up and the pics from the show before last (at Just For Fun) will be up soon. The new t-shirt graphics are near completion and we are all quite excited to see the final product. Hopefully, the new shirt batch will be ordered soon. ////Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope you all get stuffed with food and be thankful that you aren't starving like others in this world. Anyways, we finished our newest song after tons of work. We have a demo recording of it completed and we are working on the fine-tuning of the lyrics. We are planning on playing it live starting next show, hope you like it.
P.S. We hope to sell the remaining shirts we have so we can go get some shirts with some new designs. We have some really good ideas.

////Three cheers for everyone that showed up at the Halloween show! It was a lot of fun (other than the fact that the police cut off the headlining band, January Embers). ////We've had lots of shows planned, moved, and cancelled lately. We apologize for that. Keep looking at the shows section for the latest on all the information. On a different note, we are planning on starting the recording process over this spring break for another demo, with two amazing never-recorded songs. ////Currently, we are working on new material for future recordings. It's more complex and much more extreme in many areas. We decided that, since our drummer is in Poland, we are going to write a book called "Poland stole our drummer." Actually, we aren't. We are currently looking for more shows to play so if you have any info for us or any show openings, let us know. EVERYONE! We have our songs on a few sweet websites! Check them out under the media section and then clicking on the music link. Don't forget also to listen to other bands from the area (Mirror Mirror, Turn for the Worst, The Brigade, etc.).

////We recently finished recording a demo for Mirror Mirror. It took two days in a sweaty garage but we finally got it done. The best part is that we got to ride their battery powered scooters! Check out their demo. They had Mike guest sing backup vocals for one of the songs. At this point we are reworking some of our old songs to be more complex and powerful. Hopefully next time you see us live you will notice the changes. On top of that we are writing new songs and planning on recording them soon enough.

////The recording process for our new demo has been started. We have done some scratch recordings and have tested equalizing them. So far it sounds much better than our last demo. For the next two weeks we are probably going to work on Slawek's drum fills and timing, once he's finished we can start recording for real. Thats all for now.
