Spirit speak
Our nature binds us in dark
chains from saving ourselves - We bring about our
own end - In flames we will burrow with our burning
hands - digging distance into the eternity of damnation
But there must be a savior
A mighty warrior delivering
those who deny themselves and bow before Him
Then
I see the Lord - Towering over me he says - “I am the
Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end - To him who
is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring
of the water of life.”
Oh, I weep with repentance - I
hear the Christ knocking and open I will overcome
by His strength - I will sit aside the throne
with Him.

Excuse me while I pick up my teeth. Ho... ly... crap. I LOVED the opening sequence.
VERY brutal and attention-grabbing. It's like a good solid kick in the teeth.
(hence the title of this review. XD) To be completely honest, I restarted the
song twice before I got too far into it just so I could hear it again. The harmonized
guitar parts were the perfect touch... the drum parts all through the song were tight and engaging.
The ride cymbal in the breakdown was a nice touch. The vocals in particular really
grabbed my attention. The variance in the screaming styles kept things interesting
and made me want to keep listening to see how he'd pull off the next part of the
song. - lunariumohio Waverly, Ohio - February 21st, 2006 |
